Beautiful, compact & functional. This lovely decorative two-seater salon chair dates to 1900-1910. The chair has a super shape with lovely detailing - including the wavy shaped back rest & arms, the simple fretwork and the cabriole legs. Solid of joint this chair has been professionally reupholstered with new webbing, padding & Fermoie linen fabric in Cove-010 (blue). Overall the mahogany frame is in a good antique condition - there are signs of wear commensurate with age particularly to the leading edge at the front … it doesn’t detract but simply adds to the charm & character of this genuine antique chair.
