Set of 4 Elm and Beech 1960s Ercol 391 Chairs Robust, compact and striking in their simplicity, the Ercol 391 Dining Chair (also known as the Ercol All Purpose Dining Chair) is a design classic. The subtle curve in the back rest makes for a comfortable dining experience and the changes to the structure make them as robust a chair as you’ll find. We also love the old, school-chair feel about them. Won’t work for everyone but it does for us. These are hard to source. They just don’t come up all that much. Price is for all 4 chairs. Condition: They have a lovely aged appearance but could also be lightly sanded and oiled if you would prefer a cleaner look. There are no splits or damage to the chairs. There are some surface aged wear but this could be sanded out if you prefer and the spindles seem solid. These original vintage pieces are ‘sold as seen’. They are in rustic, used condition.
