The stunning glazing on this platter is one of the talents the Eric Leaper was well renowned for. The depths and different colours in this glaze make it almost 3 dimensional. Stunning reds, oranges, greens and blacks truly make it a very noticeable piece and one I can’t quite capture well enough in the photos. Made in the 1960s at the Newlyn Pottery in Cornwall this is one collectible to add to your pottery collection. As you will see in the last photo there are two other pieces of this type available in differing sizes This medium sized long platter is 34.5cm long and 13.5cm deep and stands at 2.5cm when flat.
