The stunning glazing on this platter is one of the talents the Eric Leaper was well renowned for. The depths and different colours in this glaze make it almost 3 dimensional. Stunning reds, oranges, greens and blacks truly make it a very noticeable piece and one I can’t quite capture well enough in the photos. Made in the 1960s at the Newlyn Pottery in Cornwall this is a true collectible to add to your pottery collection. This piece is signed on the bottom by artist and is in great vintage condition with no chips, or cracks. As you will see in the last photo there are two other pieces of this type available in differing sizes. This is the larger of the platters at 35.5cm in length and 21.5cm deep. the edge is 3cms high.
