A really beautiful vintage 1950s Sorrento Ware marquetry inlaid felt lined musical jewellery box with a dancing ballerina. The Swiss musical movement plays Torna a Surriento (Come Back To Sorrento in English). The fabulously veneered and inlaid case has been polished and varnished which is beautifully crackled now and the whole case is in excellent condition throughout, some slight foxing to the mirror and no key unfortunately.
