Beautiful jug or pitcher, by Shorter and Sons, in the Wild Rose design from 1939. Hand painted, embossed. A scarce design, so would make a great addition to a collection. In good vintage condition. Some craquelure to the glaze, as you'd expect from a piece of pottery of this age, and a small patch of discolouration on the interior base - please check the photos thoroughly as these form part of the description. Displays well, advise against using to hold hot liquids. No chips or cracks. Measures 13cm/5" tall. I've seen others for sale online ranging from £60 to around £100, so this is a great price!...more
