Four ebonised bentwood and cane dining chairs. Two with arms and two without. A classic, timeless design originally designed by Josef Hoffmann in the first half of the c20th. This set was produced by Dinette, a company given the licence to make them in the 1960's/70's. The design enables a lovely sense of space and light as the solid surfaces are minimal and all are curved. This set has seen some life, so the black finish is worn off in a number of places. This doesn't affect the overall look or style. The handwoven cane is in good condition with one carver having a couple of small breaks at the side of the seat, so it bends down slightly. As this is a large, item it can be picked up from the HoMV studio in N15, or delivered by a courier.
