An Antique French Empire Minister Desk from the 1900s, made of Mahogany with a French style. This double-sided desk features three lockable drawers with original keys. The mahogany finish has been sympathetically polished and the green leather insert has a gold central motif and figaree border. It is raised on mahogany column legs that are decorated with gilted metal collars at the top and bottom. The legs are connected with a sweeping X stretcher and the false drawers on the rear allow for the desk to be used in any location within the room. It is 160 cm in length, 85 cm in width, and 76 cm in height, weighing approximately. 40 kg.
