This joyful and decorative plate by HB Quimper is a great example of traditional, French faience design. Tin glazed earthenware with a lovely, handprinted floral design and scalloped edge. This piece in particular would have been produced between 1968 - 83, the period in which the HB factory purchased the rights to the Henriot Quimper moulds, designs and marks and reorganised as Les Faïenceries de Quimper. The plate is marked 'F200 D240' which constitutes the number of the shape (F) and the pattern (D). W: 39cm D: 28cm ~~ All items are sold as seen.
