A French Napoleon III crapaud (toad back) armchair, late 19th century, with spoon shaped back and scroll arms, over a sprung seat and raised on ebonised supports. These chairs are very comfortable and a good size for an occasional chair. Measurements are 82cm high, 60 cm wide at the front of the seat (76cm wide outside arm to outside arm), the seat measures 54cm deep and 31cm high. Castors can be added to the legs if preferred.
