G-Plan Red Label small chest of drawers. Circa 1960/70s The chest has a beautiful teak ’matchbook’ grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout. Both stylish and functional this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home. A stunning mid century piece in a rare format which allows this piece to be used as a sideboard in a living room or as a chest of drawers in a bedroom. It is as stylish now as it was when it was first made. G Plan label can be found on the inside of the drawer as seen and at its back. Constructed of teak veneer with solid sculpted afromosia handles. Having three easy opening front storage drawers. The top drawer comes with one insert which can be removed if preferred. Raised on plinth base. Beautiful tone and grain. Very good condition. Top has been completely restored. Front and sides cleaned and refinished (waxed) Hardly traces of use.
