Gien France Earthenware Pitcher/Jug

Please see all photos, description and condition This stunning jug was produced by Gien, France between 1971-1984 The hand painted details are known as the Italian Renaissance Fond Bleu and was designed by Adrian Thibault (1884-1918) Gien makers mark to underside base Condition In overall lovely vintage condition with just a couple of minor surface marks which are under the belly of the jug and cannot be seen when placed on a flat surface There is also a hairline on the inside of the jug going towards the handle this is not all the way through and cannot be seen on the outside of the jug, I have tried to pick this up on photo 8 The bottom of the inside interior shows signs of usage These minor flaws by no means takes nothing away from this absolutely, stunning and outstanding item The price set reflects the minor flaws Height 26cm Diameter of base 9.5cm Width measuring across the belly 15cm If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me and i will do my very best to help Please note that most of my items are Antique or Vintage and therefore may come with some signs of usage for example minor surface wear I will always detail any chips, cracks or faults...more
