This vintage solid hardwood shelf is a unique, useful and decorative storage solution - it can be wall mounted if required. The whole piece has been gilded in gold leaf then aged and decorated with a hand painted art nouveau inspired swirling crocus design. The surfaces have been sealed with several layers of lacquer - this will protect the design but care should still be taken, for example standing liquid and harsh chemicals will cause damage. As with all my vintage pieces this has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its character and charm - this is in excellent condition.
