Vintage Coffee Table / Side Table from the 40/50s Attractive and well made table. Made by the Gordon Russell firm. In solid oak with tapering legs, chamfered edge and open joint detailing. Here we have a practical example of a vintage mid century oak round coffee table / occasional table. Superb coffee table is stamped CC ,with the “two Cheeses Logo” and most importantly carries a Gordon Russell stamp. The table retains his maker's stamp on the underneath of the frame, which reads: 'Russell of Broadway'. Beside this stamped into the wood is a symbol and the number 418. Condition: Original condition We believe it was varnished at some point during its previous life with a darker teak tone to it Structurally solid with no significant damage or marks.
