Heavy Alabaster from 50s Italy has been handcarved with a ribbed pattern around its side. The alabaster is a lovely creamy shade with white and beige veining. Beautiful vintage condition with no chips or cracks this can be used for its original purpose or as a trinket dish or Incense holder. I am adding the brass incense holder, as in photo, to this item. It is 14.5 cm in diameter and stands at 4cm high. it has a very fine felted base in cream and is polished on the flat surfaces and textured on the sides. Being Vintage there are a couple of nicotine marks in the dish but this is barely noticeable as it tones in to the general colour....more
