Hand Painted Blue and Yellow Tartan Jug

This pretty blue tartan jug was hand painted but I have no idea when. There is no makers name but there is a spiral in the glaze on the bottom if that is of any significance. It is a handy size either for pouring or displaying flowers measuring 16cm tall, about 13cm across the middle and 10cm across the rim. It's in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a bit of an indent at the bottom of the handle which could be deliberate or a slight manufacturing fault (see pic).
