These gothic-style bookends have been given the aged, grunge treatment with a bit of added glamour in gold- the perfect piece of statement decor for your mantelpiece or to keep your books in order! Measurements single bookend- Width 16.5cm, height 18cm, depth 8cm The bookends been painted using Annie Sloan chalk paints before being finished with a protective layer of Annie Sloan clear wax. Gold gilding wax has then been applied all over to pick out the carved design. The back and base of the bookends have been given two coats of lacquer for extra protection against any bumps and knocks. Please note that the finishing wax used is water resistant, but it is still advised to mop up any spills immediately. Can be wiped down with a damp cloth to maintain the finish....more
