This quirky cabinet started life as a clock case - it's been completely transformed with a hand painted sycamore design against a deep navy background. The entire piece has been given several layers of furniture varnish to protect the painted surfaces (please note that care still needs to be taken, for example standing liquid and harsh cleaning chemicals could possibly damage the surface finish). *The two open sections in the door have pieces of original glass that aren't included in the images but will be reinstated before dispatch.* As with all my vintage pieces this has minor evidence of its previous life adding to its character and charm.
