This started life as a dressing table drawer - it's been reimagined as a piece of functional wall art, that can be used as a display shelf. The entire drawer has been painted in black furniture paint then decorated with hand painted cherry blossom in shades of copper and gold and features a characterful waxwing. Brass fixings will be added to the back to allow it to be wall hung and the entire piece sealed with several layers of furniture varnish.
