Hand~blown Floral & Fern Jug & Glasses

I know we always say how lovely something is, but when I arrive home with a silly grin on my face and something that looks like a trussed up turkey in my bag, then Magpie 2 knows I have found a truly lovely vintage gem. A beautiful handblown jug with polished pontil to the base and the most exquisite floral and fern etched decoration. With a matching set of 4 glasses. It's just joyous. Very beautifully and skilfully blown, the top of the jug has a scalloped edge done with great skill when the glass is still hot. In superb condition, I think this has sat in a glass cabinet and only come out on rare and special occasions. Could be used for water or long cool iced drinks or just admired on a pretty tray. A little hard to date I think maybe 1930's or 1940's because of the shapes - but there aren't many out there to compare it to, so that would have to be an educated guess.
