Handmade Ceramic Typey Pattern Lamp Sunrise

Made by hand in collaboration with Roz Wallis and Appreciate Things London, this stamped typey patterned lamp was hand-thrown in white clay by Roz in the studio net door to Keira’s, stamped with slip glaze by Keira with her typey pattern stamps, fired by Roz then Keira added to the resulting patterns post-firing with a acrylic paints in the negative spaces, to enhance the character forms and colours. The 3rd collaborator was Jude from Appreciate Things London, who turned the ceramic forms into lamps with brass fittings, and antique-style twisted rayon cord in beige, with UK plugs.
