Hand made round footstool in simply stunning Darnley Toile Velvet by Zoffany in Tigers Eye (retails for £175 per metre) Featuring a striking central tree trunk and etched bird motif, this delicate toile velvet fabric is adorned with sophisticated metallic highlights. With influences drawn from Temple Newsam, a Jacobean house near Leeds, this design is a recreated fabric from the much loved Chintz design for their first collection in 1983. The contrasting velvets are by Linwood. We love combining colours to create unique pieces! All of our footstools are made complete with original mid century reclaimed legs, most of which have brass caps. We lovingly restore them, however there will be signs of patina and age.
