Fabulous Mid Century Modern coffee cups and saucer part set Six cups and saucers, and 1 sugar bowl. In a fabulous retro design Harlequin Checkmate - designed by John Russel in 1961 for The Empire Porcelain Co. In an on trend colour way of Blue and Grey and a retro brown for the saucer. - you don't see this colour way very often size ( approx ) cup width 9cm x height 6cm diameter 7cm, saucer diameter 13cm, sugar bowl diameter 9cm height 5cm makers mark shows Staffordshire England In good condition a few minor marks and some crazing of glaze in parts.
