Fabulous Mid Century Modern coffee cups and saucer part set Six cups and saucers, and 1 sugar bowl. In a fabulous retro design Harlequin Checkmate - designed by John Russel in 1961 for The Empire Porcelain Co. In an on trend colour way of Blue and Grey and a retro brown for the saucer. - you don't see this colour way very often size ( approx ) cup width 9cm x height 6cm diameter 7cm, saucer diameter 13cm, sugar bowl diameter 9cm height 5cm makers mark shows Staffordshire England In good condition a few minor marks and some crazing of glaze in parts. In general the condition suggests that these items may have been used for display. Sold in the condition as seen in the photos here....more
