This high quality Edwardian mahogany chest of drawers was made by Harris and Solomon Lebus. The firm took out a 1904 patent relating to the construction of drawer sides (a framed panel, rather than solid wood), to reduce warping and subsequent sticking. All original handles and locks are still in place. Although the chest is in great condition there are age related marks which add to the charm of this item.
