Henriot Quimper Pottery Dish

This colourful pottery dish was hand made and hand painted in France by the Henriot Quimper Pottery Company. The design is the Corbielle Rose Design which was first introduced in the 1930s however this modern interpretation is most likely from late century. It features a pretty blue and pink flower pattern with green foliage and yellow and blue border accents. Part of the pattern has a sponge painted effect which is carried over the side of the rim to give a nice finish. The bowl measures 24cm in diameter and stands almost 7cm tall. There is a small chip on the rim which is not too noticeable and could easily by disguised however I have reflected this little defect in the price.
