This cute little vintage Hornsea Pottery vase is from the 1950s Playtime series and was designed by Colin Rawson. It features a puppy dog and tortoise on a see saw in front of a stone wall vase. It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks but does have some crazing to the glaze which is usual for a piece of this age. It measures 13cm long, 8cm tall and 6cm deep. The shape of this vase lends itself to many other uses such as a key holder, jewellery or trinket holder, receipt holder or it even makes a neat little phone holder.
