This huge and very heavy vintage slipware serving platter, has such an eye-catching rustic look! It features a dark brown glaze, accented with dark ochre yellow, evocative of very early antique Staffordshire slipware pieces. Use as a perfect decorative cottage accent, as a piece when dining, or on a dresser or console. Initialled BW to base (unknown) 6cm H x 39.5cm W (at widest point) x 29cm D Wonderful condition throughout with simply a few tiny flecks of missing glaze to its pattern and light surface crazing.
