This striking antique Hungarian settle/bench is the epitome of form and function. A sturdy, heavy piece made from pine which would be equally as at home in a period or modern property alike. A large piece, that seats 3/4 people comfortably. This bench stands on square legs leading to beautifully shaped wavy arms. The panelled back rest echoes the arms and has a fantastic tactile curved design. It has a chippy, chalky off black painted finish, with signs of multi layers of coloured paint from its previous lives, giving it a fabulously decorative surface patina. A versatile piece that would look great in any hallway or at the side of a kitchen/dining table.
