This decorative bowl features a classic Imari-style colour palette with hand-painted deep orange roses, navy blue leaves highlighted with gilt, and a stylised blue border around the rim. A vibrant, bold piece with timeless appeal—perfect as a statement item for display or as a distinctive indoor planter. The base bears a red printed mark showing a seated potter with the word “Rose". There appears to be a manufacturing error in the stamp, making it incomplete or partially obscured. However, the design and style are consistent with pieces made by Lancaster & Sandland Ltd, active in Staffordshire during the early to mid 20th century. In very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear consistent with age.
