A pair of beautiful Indian Brass Diya candle holders or oil burners. Measuring 30cm tall, 10cm in diameter at the base and 12cm in diameter at the top. These have some etched writing on them but unfortunately I can’t read it. There is some tarnish at the base but should come off with good polishing. Diyas are symbolically lit during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies; they are permanent fixtures in homes and temples. The warm, bright glow emitted from a diya is considered auspicious, regarded to represent enlightenment, prosperity, knowledge and wisdom.
