A beautiful, original mid century Indian oxidized brass vase, c.1960s-70s in date. Very pretty, the vase is heavy brass which has a matte, rough oxidized finish which has then been 'scratched' into to create an ornate floral pattern. The 'scratched' areas show as bright yellow-gold bass in contrast to the matte black foreground. Really lovely, and in excellent vintage condition complete with a little label on the base which reads 'Oxidized Brass'- the decoration has been done by hand and has all the charm and inconsistency of a handmade item.
