A very unusual piece of aviation history - a melamin Iraqi Air plate. Commemorates Flight 1001 to Baghdad by Trident Jetliner. The Trident jetliner, particularly the Hawker Siddeley Trident, was in service during the 1960s and 1970s. Iraqi Airways, the national carrier of Iraq, operated the Trident during this period, specifically from the late 1960s through the 1970s. The plate is quite small, measuring about 13 x 13 cm.
