Made by 'James Seccombe Ltd' circa 1970 this single bed, with removable headboard, storage drawers and bedside tables is the epitome of space-age design. With a 1960's 1970's design feel that somehow also feels futuristic the vintage bed features mirror glass tops on the bedside tables, and storage drawers underneath. The ingenious modular design allows the bed base to break into components for transport. Mid 20th Century Design - JAMES SECCOMBE, model js2000, complete with a shell kapwood headboard and integrated bedside cabinets with smoked mirrored glass shelves, and four angled under bed storage drawers, along with a modern memory foam mattress. Slight sun damage of plastic evident on all these 50+ year old vintage plastic furniture items.
