Stunning Japanese kintsugi repaired bowl. Our pieces are handcrafted using modern kintsugi techniques. By employing epoxy resin and gold mica powders (to replace traditional Japanese urushi tree lacquer and 24 carat gold) we are able to recreate the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi, making it accessible to all. Our bowls are broken and together in the traditional way - the gold joinery is not simply painted on.
