Beautiful Jema Holland mallard duck wall plaque - from the 1950s - 1960s I think. Jema pottery was founded in 1955 by two brothers, Jelis and Johan Willem Mager. The name Jema was derived from Je from Jelis and Ma from Mager. Jema was in production as a family business until 1984. Beautifully modelled and painted, inscribed on the back and showing that it's size 47. *Please note that there is what I believe to be an almost invisible repair to the wing tip - shown in the photographs but it's tricky to see!* Dimensions approximately: 17cm x 16cm As with all my vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its character and charm - apart from the repair described, this is in great condition with no further damage....more
