Japanese bowl, hand repaired using the ancient art of kintsugi. Our modern techniques employ epoxy resin and gold mica powders in place of traditional Japanese urushi tree sap and 24 carat gold - to make our pieces affordable to all. This bowl was extensively damaged and a large piece shattered beyond repair.
