This traditional folk-art Bulgarian bowl, features a stunning mid-blue glaze, with an intricate cream and dark brown slip glazed pattern. Made from terracotta and deep sided, it dates from the 1970s from the town of Troyan, in northern Bulgaria at the foothills of the Balkan mountains. Ideal used as a decorative accent, or a salad or serving bowl - perfect for dining alfresco! 21.5cm W Diameter at rim x 10.5cm H Wonderful condition throughout it does have some areas of terracotta showing at rim as seen in photo 2 however these are fully glazed and not chips, i.e part of the original design. š¤ All our items are genuine pieces of age and are never sold as in new condition.
