Impressively Large Antique Carved French Wine Press Screw Plinth. An impressive carved French wine press screw plinth. The screw element dates from the 1814 and adapted into a plinth during the 1900s. Carvings include vine, medlar, apple and holly details. This is definitely a centre piece and a real talking point. We regularly stock wine press screw plinths - but this one is the most impressive to date. Very much in original antique untouched condition – plenty of signs of age, scrapes and wear.
