A good sized, very handsome, dark wood desk that was acquired some years ago, following the refurbishment of Kings College, Cambridge. A great study desk with bags of character/history. There are some dents and bruises to the legs, as expected on a piece of furniture that has been sat at by numerous university students. The desk top, however, is in great condition and has been sanded and refinished with several layers of Danish oil to protect it and allow the beauty of the wood to shine. The lower drawer has had a repair done to the drawer front but this is barely noticeable without scrutiny. All in all this is an excellent, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing desk with gently rounded edges, useful storage drawers and a handy pull out stationary holder under the desk top. Why Buy Me? Good looking, functional and will comfortably sit within most interior styles.
