From what I was told by the lady I bought these from they were bought in Harrods in the late 70s and have been in storage for a long while since. The beautiful forest green is really quite something and superb quality. From research they are possibly Murano, as I found something very alike in a different colour… but whatever their origin they are exceptional in depth of colour (they truly sparkle) and in a beautiful fine glass. The Pitcher is 28.5cm in height and 16cm at its widest (including handle and 11cm at its base. The Glasses are 10.5cm in height and are 7cm at the lip and 6 cm at the base. The volume of the pitcher Id 2.75 litres and the glasses hold 300mls comfortably. Unfortunately I discovered a nibble on one of the glasses which I have tried to photograph. See last photos. However, I feel you could still use it as smooth to touch. The rest of the set is in gorgeous condition....more
