Large Portmeirion "Totem" ceramic storage jar. The design was originally launched in 1963 and is now a design icon of the 1960s. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, it was originally made in 3 colours – blue, amber and this lovely dark olive green. The translucent glaze really highlights the relief patterns that were hand carved into the moulds. In good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, couple of minor patches of crazing to the glaze but not noticeable and displays really well - a really nice addition to a Totem collection. Measures just under 20cm tall and 17.5cm wide. Please remember that this is a pre-loved vintage item and may show signs of use/wear, but is in good vintage condition as per the photographs. I only sell items that I would be happy to buy myself, and take as many photos as I can but please get in touch if you have any questions at all....more
