Large Victorian mahogany sideboard made by Maple & Co, London. This is a beautiful, solid, heavy and very large sideboard at nearly 2 meters long! It has two central cupboard doors over a long drawer and flanked by two cupboard doors which are profusely carved… To the under side of the sideboard - front elevation is a spindle Wood detail. Both cupboards are fitted with a single shelf each. Originally this piece would probably have had a mirror back as seen from the pegged areas to the top of the sideboard. There is a small ring stain to the top and also some superficial cosmetic marks here and there - but despite this - it is an absolute beauty! The colour is glorious and warm and the patina lovely! The sideboard sits on short turned supports! If your looking for a beautiful, decorative, large sideboard - then this might be for you!
