This very interesting ceramic container was made by Howard's Pottery who were taken over by Taunton Vale Company in the 1970s. The mark on the base bears both names dating this piece mid 1970s. It has a knitwear pattern in a brown treacle glaze and is in excellent condition for its age with the rubber seal still intact which can be removed for cleaning. There is a handy handle on the lid making access a to your favourite biccies a breeze. You could, of course use the container for other means like flour or dried pasta maybe. It stands 22cm tall and 15cm in diameter and weighs 1.4kg. Please browse my shop and if you are interested in more than one item message me so I can adjust the postage cost. All items are carefully packaged with used or reusable materials before being sent to their new homes....more
