Stopped right in my tracks when I saw this. What a beauty. Large oval platter by Santos of Caldos da Rainha, Portugal. Sadly they closed in 2007 so these beauties are no more. Fabulous scale and creamy white pattern with a large lobster, wave ripples and graceful shells. I would put it on the wall I think and take it down on high days and lobster thermidor days.
