This stunning studio pottery vase is handmade and glazed in shades of muted olive green and blue. It’s a heavy piece and stands at approximately 26cm tall and measures around 25cm at its widest point. Similar in form to a clam shell, it has a smooth surface and irregular, abstract opening. Use as a display piece or with two or three longer stemmed blooms. It has a clear maker’s mark but as yet I haven’t been able to identify it. It has some small issues in line with use and age, such as minor scuffs and an old chip on the very bottom of the rim, which aren’t noticed when displayed. A very nice and good-sized piece....more
