Late Georgian early Victorian mahogany tea caddy

Beautiful late Georgian early Victorian mahogany veneered sarcophagus shaped tea caddy supported on four turned wooden bun feet. It's in pretty good condition for its age though is missing the escutcheon panel and its mixing bowl. Also on of the lids is missing its handle and one corner appears to have been scorched at some point in the last couple of hundred years! It's still a great looking and useful item and the patina of the wood is fabulous.
