A late Victorian walnut Dickens desk, enclosing eight lower drawers, a sham central drawer, and eight upper drawers and document rack to upper portion. The desk also has a central front fall desk which reveals a fitted interior. The top is furnished with a green leather insert and the drawers decorative metal handles. This is an absolute beauty and has a wonderful patina. There are some superficial marks and tow stable splits to the outer aspect of the top - but regardless, this is a solid, elegant and beautiful antique desk which is a definite room changer!
