This exquisite little ceramic spice jar is from the Birds and Blossoms range made by Lenox, US in 1994. They are highly collectable as each spice jar features a different species of bird and flower and is one of 4 different shaped jars. This is the Marjoram jar and features a Golden Crown Ringlet perched on a branch among golden marigolds. There is gilding to the top, lid and base as well as the name and makers mark being in gold. It is in excellent condition and measures 9.5cm high and about 5cm to the widest point.
