This butter dish by Lurpak quickly became a collectors item when it was released in 2002 along with a toast rack and egg cups. The dish features the Lurpak logo on the front and Douglas the butter man from the Lurpak TV commercial resting on top of the butter dish. Sadly Douglas has suffered a bit of past trauma as the top of his head has been repaired and he has a chip on his shoulder, literally! - could be a talking point. (please see photos). However the damage is not too noticeable and does not distract from the fun of this iconic little guy. The dish measures 15.3cm from handle to handle, is 10cm wide and about 10cm to the top of Douglas's head. Add a bit of fun and character to your breakfast table.
