Mahogany ‘Hamilton’ Sideboard by Robert Heritage

This fabulous sideboard was designed by Robert Heritage who was one of the top British furniture designers of the mid-20th century and manufactured by Archie Shine. This mid century Honduran Mahogany and Rosewood 'Hamilton' sideboard was manufactured in the early 1960s, the elegant Danish style design has a long rectangular top over four reeded drawers and two cupboards with removable shelves, the piece is raised on four narrow tapered legs.  Featuring reeded drawers, rosewood book-matched veneered doors and turned brass trumpet pulls. In fantastic vintage condition. That being said, there are still some age related marks and wear but nothing that detracts from the overall look and functionality of the piece. The top drawer green baise has seen better days (see picture) but doesn't effect the functionality of the drawer. We have left the previous owners drawer protecting liners in the cupboards but these can be removed either by the purchaser or us if required.
